Personal Training in Banashankari

Personal training is the fastest way to stop guessing. You get an assessment, a plan built around your goal and your schedule, and someone watching every rep so the technique is right before the weight goes up.

What to expect

A session, start to finish

  1. A movement and lifestyle assessment before anything is programmed
  2. A written plan with specific lifts, sets and progression targets
  3. Coaching on every session — form corrected as it happens, not afterwards
  4. Load and volume adjusted weekly against what your body actually did
  5. Progress reviewed on a fixed schedule, not whenever it comes up

Who personal training actually suits

Three people get disproportionate value from one-to-one coaching. The complete beginner, who would otherwise spend six months learning what a good session looks like. The person who has trained for years and stalled, because the thing holding them back is usually technical rather than motivational. And anyone training around an injury, a desk job or a schedule that will not tolerate a fixed class time.

If you already train consistently, know your numbers and are progressing, personal training is a luxury rather than a need. We would rather tell you that than sell you twelve sessions.

What the first session involves

Nothing heavy. We look at how you move — squat, hinge, press, pull — and where the restrictions are. We talk about what you do for a living, how you sleep, what you have tried before and what went wrong with it. That conversation sets the programme far more than the movement screen does.

How progression is handled

Weight goes up when technique holds at the current weight, not on a fixed weekly schedule. That is slower on paper and considerably faster in practice, because it is the route that does not involve a six-week break for a strained back.

Questions

Personal training — common questions

How many sessions a week do I need?
Two is the usual starting point — enough to build a habit and correct technique, with room to train on your own in between. Three suits someone with a specific deadline. One works if you are using the session mainly to check and adjust a plan you follow independently.
Can I train with a friend or my partner?
Yes. Paired sessions work well when both people have broadly similar goals and availability, and they cost less per person than training alone. Ask us about it at the consultation.
What if I have an existing injury?
Tell us at the assessment and bring any physiotherapy notes you have. We coach around a great many injuries, but we are not clinicians — if something needs medical attention first, we will say so rather than work around it.
